The industrial development started in Europe around the 18th/19th century with industrial revolution in Britain/France/Germany and spread to the rest of Europe.
Through modern civilization and improvement on science, technology and innovations this industrial development gave birth to mass production of goods and services.
Technology and skills were then transferred from Europe to North America and Australia (at the time colonies of the United Kingdom).
